In 2006 Byers Engineering Company introduced our Telco
Suite, a group of integrated mapping and engineering
software products specifically tailored for ILEC/RUS
companies. The applications included in the suite are
currently utilized by over 20,000 users at several of

The Telco version of Byers Engineering Work Order™
system was built specifically for independent telephone
companies to efficiently allow engineers to produce

Map Viewer™
Byers Map Viewer™ provides the functionality
to support engineering, planning, installation and repair,
field capture, facility assignment, and spatial analysis
applications. Corporate accounting and customer service
data can be integrated with engineering data to extend
the power of your information across the company. In
the office or in the field, Map Viewer is a facility
viewing tool created specifically for easy map access
for a broad range of users.

Data Bridge™
Byers Data Bridge™ is an alternative to the Auto
Update functionality provided within the Map Viewer
8.3 release and is ideal for users who have zero or
infrequent access to their company’s network but
still need to view and analyze facility data. Data Bridge
provides an easy interface for handling the tasks required
to distribute mapping data to mobile and office users
for view only access with our Byers Map Viewer? software.
With Data Bridge, you have an efficient way to extract
and load data from a host computer to local PC’s,
file servers, CD’s, or DVD’s. Data Bridge
saves your database administrators time writing or changing
custom programs every time they need to extract current
data from the EWO system for mobile and office users.

SpatialAge Web Viewer™
Byers SpatialAge Web Viewer™ provides centralized
access to your geospatial database via a Web based interface.
The software provides for viewing and analysis of facility
data via a LAN or via the Internet in a secure environment.
Authorized users need only click on a link in their
web browser to access the software to perform operations
such as locating an area of interest, zooming and panning,
and reviewing database attributes.

- Provides users with view manipulations such as
pan, zoom, etc.
- Filters views based on pre-defined sets of layers
- Has an intelligent locate feature that allows users
to locate areas based on information they already
know, such as street address, pole number, etc.
