The following table lists our prepackaged SpatialAge
releases. Clients can also construct new applications or modify existing
ones from user objects to meet evolving requirements.

Note that an appropriate subset of SpatialAge Designer telco
objects is included with FMT and Planner.
Administrator’s Workbench: Provides capabilities
for administrators and developers to administer, configure, and extend
SpatialAge applications.
Spatial Data Loader: Provides initial load and incremental
replication of a DGN/relational database model into an Oracle Spatial
model.
DataBridge: Provides the distributed computing mechanism
by which SpatialAge applications can conduct remote method calls
and operations, enabling programs to communicate and execute services
on middle tier servers.
Geodata Display: Pan, zoom, window area, or open back
and forward views; open an overview or bird’s eye view; display
multiple windows; view detail drawings; display a home view; and use preset
zoom levels.
Attribute Review: Review database information associated
with a feature.
Print: Print views and work prints locally and across
the network through the operating system's supported print drivers.
Raster: View a variety of image formats.
Redline: Mark up maps and save edits in separate tables.
Bookmarks: Store the state of the application
Feature Locate: Locate and display geographic information
based on user-defined queries such as street name, pole number, and address.
Constrain searches to a specific geographic area.
Thematic Mapping: Extensive capabilities related to
which features are displayed and how those features are displayed on the
map. Back to front ordering (for example, the user can order filled polygons
in back). Set background and foreground color, font, line style, and pattern.
Define dynamic label. Set zoom display scale factor. Define expressions
to control display. Supports public and private themes. Displays a simple
tree view to select current theme and to control display of features and/or
components of features.
Special Map Creation: Using SpatialAge Map
Modeler technology, create special user-defined maps for output.
GPS Interface: Implement a serial interface to industry
standard GPS devices.
Spatial Query: Inspect a geographic area through spatial
and attribute criteria.
Network Trace: Analyze a feature through its network
connectivity.
Draw/Edit Tools: Draw and edit features easily.
User Access Control: Validate user names and passwords
for access to application functionality.
Batch Processor: Submit or schedule batch jobs; review
job status and completion information.
Material List: Generate list of material for plans
or designs.
Route Builder: Collapse parallel linear features (for
example, cables) and associate those features to a single generalized
route.
Plan Management: Create, modify, delete, save, and
publish plans.
Work Order Management: Produce work orders and manage
lifecycle states on features, package attributes, engineering detail drawings.
Construction Work Print: Produce work print packages
with cover sheets, construction notes, and symbology.
Long Transaction Management: Handles multiple concurrent
users working over an extended time frame in the same geographic area
with the potential of conflicting changes to the same data. Provides advanced
tools for analysis and decisions to support resolution of data conflicts.
Import Other Data Formats: Import and display CAD,
GIS, and location data from other systems.
Telco
Demand Aggregation: Provides interfaces for user to
enter circuit forecast requirements at optical, digital, and analog levels.
This demand is allocated at CSA, equipment location, or (existing or future)
customer locations. Planner rolls up the demand into logical and physical
fiber requirements by user-specified time periods.
Capacity Aggregation: Computes/aggregates cumulative
capacity at optical and digitial levels for cables at any point along
the network.
Utilization Aggregation: Computes/aggregates for cables
by utilization by states and usages.
Loop Makeup: Generate a detailed report of electrical
characteristics for a telecommunications circuit.
Telco Objects: Defines feature components, relationships,
and manipulation behavior including connectivity, placement, edit, and
validation rules.
Fiber Restoration: Generates reports providing the
sheath, access locations, circuits and customer details associated with
a fiber outage. In addition displays the geographical location of the
outage.
Manage Fiber Usage: FMT automatically tracks (if data
available from other systems) various states and uses of the physical
fiber strand. In addition provides interfaces for users to manually enter
or overriding automated states and uses.
Fiber Ring Designer: Locate available fibers at a specific
point along the network that meet the required ring design specifications.
Analyze both terminated and dark fiber to find diverse routes.
ISP Bay and Rack View: Provides drill-down functionality
to interact with graphic presentations of bay floor plans with linking
to individual racks and the specific pieces of equipment on each rack.
OSP to ISP Connectivity: Provides interfaces for generating
and maintaining fiber strand connectivity to any OSP or ISP features;
for example, fiber strand connection to a splice or optical patch panel.
